Deacon Ministry

“And let these also be proved, then let them us the office of deacon, being found blameless.”
1 Timothy 3:10

The Deacon Ministry develops a relationship with church families by assisting them in reaching their God-given potential. This involves proclaiming the gospel to the poor, caring for families, and leading them to experience Christian fellowship.

In all areas of this church, the deacon’s stand beside the pastor as co-laborer’s in a spiritual ministry. They not only care for the disciples of this church, but for other people in the community. They also serve as support for public worship care of church properties, and other needs of the church.

Brotherhood Ministry

 "I Beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."
Romans 12:1

This ministry is available to all brothers ages 18 and up. We are committed to training for leadership, recruitment of committed brothers to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ beyond the church walls through a study of the Word, prayer, special laymen studies and nurturing of boys and young men in the Christian faith.

Christian Education Ministry

 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."
Hosea 4:6a

This ministry is the "heartbeat of our Church. This ministry provides Christian educational services and programs to everyone. It is the aim of this ministry to train and edify the body of Christ. It provides leadership development, and seeks to teach a greater understanding of Christian values and Christian responsibility. It also works to promote Church growth and to build Christian values for the work of the ministry.

Our Bible Study is entitled "A Church in Training," and if the Lord has called you to teach, The Minister of Christian Education would love to hear from you.

Mission Sisters Ministry Deaconess

“That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children.”
Titus 2:4


The purpose of the Mission Sisters Ministry (formerly known as Deaconess Ministry) is to strive to be a beacon for believers in Christ, and salt for those who do not know Christ. This ministry is dedicated to providing unconditional support to the church and church family in whatever capacity is necessary. These Mission Sisters are actively involved in being an example for younger women, visiting and caring for the sick, counseling those in need, facilitating community outreach services, and edifying God’s word and work through fellowship with new converts. This ministry also serves with the Pastor and Deacons in the preparation of the Lord’s Supper and preparing female candidates for baptism. To become a Mission Sister requires unique qualities and are appointed by the Pastor.

Women of Purpose Ministry

 "For where two or more are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20

This ministry provides exciting and innovative ways for Christian women to utilize their skills, resources and energies to interact, socialize and fellowship with church family members and other community Sisterhood Ministries.

Ushers Ministry

"For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I'd rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than dwell in the tents of wickedness." Psalms 84:10

The purpose of this ministry is to propagate the spirit throughout the worship service and to greet our guests and members with a pleasant smile, a warm welcome and to direct those to comfortable seats.

Music Ministry

 "Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and
counsel each other with all wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts." Col. 3:16

Singing and praising the Lord is an important part of the worship experience. The purpose of the choir ministry is to present the word of God in song. This ministry includes a wide range of musical expressions and is a vital part of the Rosebloom Missionary Baptist Church Family and the Praise Team Ministry serves to praise God.

Children, Youth & Young Adults Ministry (Bloom Nation)

 "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6

This ministry trains children, youth and young adults for leadership; builds Christian values; provides Christian perspective on today's issues, etc. and SO MUCH MORE! This ministry is compiled of the Youth Choir, Youth Ushers, Praise Dance Ministry, and our I Care Ministry.

Health Awareness (Nursing Ministry)

"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." 3 John 1:2

This ministry serves to educate disciples, visitors and friends in order to improve health/family outcomes by promoting healthy lifestyle behaviors and addressing issues that are common in the African-American family/community. We are present to respond to health-related emergency situations (at the church) in a timely and appropriate manner, in order to promote optimal health outcomes.

B4KG Ministry (Evangelism Ministry)

"Go out into the highways and hedges,
and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." Luke 14:23

This ministry accepts the responsibility to reach out in service to others. This applies both within the church family and outside our fellowship. The Evangelism Ministry is designed to fulfill the great commission in Matthew 28:18-20, making Disciples. This ministry works in developing spiritual maturity and spiritual reproductiveness in the life of Christians.

New Disciples Ministry

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" Matthew 28:19

The purpose of our ministry is to greet persons who join the church by way of New Membership, Christian Experience, Candidate for Baptism, Rededication or Watch care. We obtain contact information and provide important information concerning the various ministries here at the church. We will guide new disciples along the way through a series of "New Disciples Orientation Classes."

Seniors "Golden Vessels" Ministry

 "But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen." 2Peter 3:18

This ministry provides exciting and innovative ways for Senior disciples to utilize their skills, resources and energies to interact, socialize and fellowship with church family members and other community organizations.

Culinary Arts Ministry

"When he saw them coming, he was overcome with pity and healed their sick. Toward evening the disciples approached him. 'We’re out in the country and it’s getting late. Dismiss the people so they can go to the villages and get some supper.' But Jesus said, 'There is no need to dismiss them. You give them supper.'"
Matthew 14:14-16  

At the request of the Pastor, the Rosebloom Missionary Baptist Church Culinary Ministry is responsible for preparing nutritious and cost-effective meals for the feeding of God’s people for annual fellowship dinner service and other church supported activities and occasions. The Culinary Ministry coordinates and organizes food and beverages and may be called upon to support and organize food and other items for repast services, wedding receptions and other church supported functions. The Culinary Ministry oversees the operation of the kitchen, including its use, cleanliness, and maintenance of the church kitchen and its equipment.

The Rosebloom Missionary Baptist Church Culinary Ministry consists of faithful disciples in the Body of Christ.

Media Ministry

"Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." Luke 14:23

This ministry mission is to be a spiritual, worshiping, working fellowship of obedient Christian members, transforming our community and world by reaching and teaching souls for Christ through our ministry of audio and visual by putting love into action. The Media Ministry helps to spread “The Bloom” experience through the aide of Technology.

Hospitality Ministry

"For where two or more are gathered together in my name,  there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20

This ministry accepts the true responsibility of ensuring that everyone who enters Rosebloom Missionary Baptist Church is warmly welcomed, greeted with a smile and offered our finest hospitality.  They are to offer appropriate assistance to our friends and family.

They are the chosen vessels to ensure that all services at “The Bloom” begin with true fellowship and as one body in Christ.
